RECIPE BOX EXHANGE/ CLASS

You are Invited
to
A Recipe Exchange Party
Thursday, March 18th 6:30pm
in Tracy

I don't know about you but I can always use more recipes. I seem to rotate the same old recipes every couple nights. So I need more variety. How about you? Of, course this recipe exchange still has a Stampin Up flare to it. Stampin Up has introduced these stylish Recipe Boxes perfect for taking all of your new recipes home in. All you have to do is RSVP to me by March 3rd. The cost of the Recipe Box is only $30. In the box you will get one Magnetic Recipe Storage Box, 64 recipe cards, 8 divider cards, one cooking tips and measurements card, and 11 sheets of die cut embellishment sheets. Then let me know what one dish you would like to bring (is it a starter, salad, soup, side dish, main dish or dessert?) I hope to get a variety of recipes for you to take home with you. Come and bring your dish and the recipe, then taste all to other dishes and write down all of your favorites.

Even if you have never attended a Stampin class before this is a good one to start with. No stampin required. Just a need of recipes and and appetite to try lots of yummy food and good company!

I really hope you can make it!
I have included some pictures of the recipe box so you can see how cute it is. And like all my events, please invite someone to come with you! Just be sure to RSVP by March 3rd so I can order your recipe box prior to this event.

Please email me if you have any questions through my stampin up website at:

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!!

Good Morning All! I'm in a bit of a hurry this morning so I don't have any posts for today, I have a hot date with my hubby and our 2 year old son, and I couldn't be happier with spending my day with my 2 favorite guys. I wanted to wish everyone a Happy Valentine's Day! I hope that the weather is wonderful and that you spend the day exactly the way you want. I will be back tomorrow with the posting of the Valentine's I gave my husband. I was going for a somewhat masculine card but I was sure how to go about it when all we see are reds and shades of pink. I'm pretty happy with the way that it turned out though so tuned for tomorrow's post and have a great day to the end of your weekend!

THANK YOU, FROM OPERATION GRATITUDE

Several months ago a we had a class where it was optional to stay behind and make some cards for our U.S. troops deployed overseas and that is just what some of the ladies did. We ended up sending 55 greeting cards some we made at class and some were cards that I donated from my personal stash. Just last week I received a Thank You letter from Operation Gratitude thanking us for our thoughtfulness and wonderful patriotic spirit and putting smiles on service members faces.

As one Private First Class wrote:
" I cannot express to you how great it feels to come home after a long day of running missions to find a care package full of love sitting on your bunk. You are exhausted from wearing 50 plus pounds of armor for hours on end, then you open the package, see all the love, and are rejuvenated and ready to face the world again. It may sound small but it really does help enormously. Our location doesn't have a PX so we rely on the support of our people at Operation Gratitude for items that we need--not to mention the morale boosting such as cookies or candy. You all are the true heroes. Thank you from the bottom of my heart."

Needless to say I wasn't expecting a thank you letter for our cards but it was definitely pretty cool to know that they did receive our cards and it was appreciated!

If you would like to find out how you can contribute to Operation Gratitude visit this website: www.operationgratitude.com or if you are interested in contributing your creativity by making cards again or for the first time we can get together. Email me @ gremgirl@sbcglobal.net. Thank you again ladies for helping me.

BABIES, BABIES AND MORE BABIES!

I absolutely love babies and boy am I going to be surrounded by them soon enough. I have 5 friends and family that have little ones on the way and recently found out that another close friend of mine is pregnant. As well as a cousin and a friend that just had babies. Needless to say there will be lots of baby cards being posted on my blog and baby showers to attend. Woo Hoo!
I feel a baby fever coming on with me hmmm baby #2 for me! LOL!
Today's baby card was inspired by a journal I found in our Stampin Success magazine that we as demonstrators receive every month. I love it, it is always filled with so many ideas and color combinations. It's also very helpful when your creative mojo decides to take a vacation on you, I know we have all been there. The journal is the third picture down. Thanks for stopping by!
