PUNCH ART BOOK

I recently had a punch art class! This book was made for one of the attendees that came to the class for the first time. I knew that she loved the new DSP so I thought why not use it for her book! This started out as a simple inexpensive notebook/journal that I purchased at the "M" store and was turned into a Stampin' Up Book of punch art. I'm really loving the bright colors
in this new DSP and having been using it a lot in projects lately, it's so bright and cheery and with the weather being so UGH lately it's a nice change. Stay tuned, tomorrow I have a 4x4 card that inspired by this punch book. Supplies listed below! Supplies:
Paper: Island Oasis DSP {pg.27 of summer mini}, Whisper White, Rose Red, So Saffron, Old Olive, Tempting Turquoise
Accessories: Island Floral Bigz die {summer mini} , Fancy Flower Punch, 1 1/4 circle punch, Sherbet Designer Buttons, Linen Thread, 5/8 Old Olive grosgrain ribbon

JUST A FEW OF MY FAVORITE THINGS

Here is another MDS scrapbook page. I've been trying to get caught up with scrapbooking my son Caleb, and I'm embarrassed to say that I'm very behind. I really love candid pictures like these, these are the moments I love capturing. Not to mention when he see's the camera, he stops what ever it was that he was doing, little stinker! This is another Designer layout that has been slightly altered. I really love all the Designer layouts that our MDS offers, it definitely makes scrapbooking a breeze whether your a amateur scrapbooker, or lacking mojo for the moment, and we all know that all of us go thorough that once in a while. Not to mention our designer layouts are great for inspiration for creating our own layouts. Thank you for taking the time to stop by. Enjoy your day!

MOTHER'S DAY FLOWER FUSHION

I hope all of you Mom's had a wonderful Mother's day, I know I did. I woke up to Starbucks, flowers, and a treat for a spa day that includes a pedi, which if I admit my toes are long over due for some TLC! =D Thank you to my fabulous husband and our 2 yr old son.

Today's project share is the Mother's day card that I made for my mom. I've been seeing a lot of cards made like this but with our new Butterfly embosslit sizzlit so I thought I'd change it up a bit and use the Flower Fusion Sizzlet instead. I love how this card style looks clean. I wanted to make this card bright and cheery so my color inspiration came from our Island Oasis DSP in the mini. I'm really loving this color combination. For a added touch I placed a small half pearl from our pretties kit. I'm really happy with the way this card turned out and I'm pretty sure my mom loved it too! Thanks for stopping by but unfortunately I have to run, house duties are calling me, UGH! Scroll down for list of supplies used.
Supplies:
Paper: Whisper White, Tempting Turquoise, Rose Red, So Saffron, Old Olive
Stamp Set: Teeny Tiny Wishes
Ink: Rose Red
Accessories: Flower Fusion Sizzlet {used w/BIG Shot}, Half Pearls from pretties kit

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!

I don't have a project to post today because I'm off to spend the day with my mom and family! I wanted to wish all of you a Happy Mother's Day and I hope that you all have an amazing day because it is well deserved. I will leave you with this poem that I found, I thought it was fun and cute, hopefully it will put a smile on your face and maybe even a chuckle, thinking yep that sounds like some of the things that go on in my day! Enjoy your day.

Dear Lord, it's such a hectic day
With little time to stop and pray
For life's been anything but calm
Since You called on me to be a mom
Running errands, matching socks
Building dreams with building blocks
Cooking, cleaning, and finding shoes
And other stuff that children lose
Fitting lids on bottled bugs
Wiping tears and giving hugs
A stack of last weeks mail to read
So where's the quiet time I need?
Yet when I steal a minute, Lord
Just at the sink or ironing board
To ask the blessings of Your grace
I see then, in my small one's face
That you have blessed me all the while
And I stop to kiss
That precious smile

SWEET CELEBRATION!!

You scream, I scream, we all scream for ice cream! I love ice cream, and who doesn't love it. So I've been playing around with the new Sweet Scoops {pg.10} stamp set from the summer mini and making my own kind of ice cream and here is one of the cards that I came up with. Unfortunately it did not photograph very well so I apologize for the haze. I wanted to try quick, clean and simple. I have a hard time with simple so I've been working on that lately, so I thought a smaller size card would be a better start. Drop me a line and let me know what you think.
Supplies:
Paper: Rose Red, Whisper White, Thoroughly Modern DSP
Stamp Set: Sweet Scoops {summer mini pg.10}
Ink: Creamy Carmel, Soft Suede, Rose Red
Accessories: Button Latte, Linen Thread, Chunky Glitter

MY LITTLE BUG & I

In honor of National Scrapbooking month and Mother's day coming up around the corner, I thought I would share a scrapbook page using My Digital Studio. This scrapbook page was created for a calendar that my son Caleb gave his grandparents. When creating my calendar I decided that the Month of May would be perfect to do pictures of just my son and I.

I love all the possibilities that My Digital Studio offers, wether it be scrapbooking, calendars, cards and so much more. This was a Designer page, which means everything was done for me all I had to do was add in the pictures, so that's what I did. However I did make a few minor changes to add my own touch. MDS software is great from being the amateur scrapbooker which usually I am, to the advanced scrapbooker. This software truly does make scrapbooking easier and keeps you up to date! Stay tuned for tomorrow's sweet scoop!
