I have to say I love glimmer paper, I love the bling but I must say that the product photograph does not do this glimmer paper a bit of justice. I thought to myself when I first saw it in the mini that it looks kind of grey but let me be the first to tell you the first time I saw it I was kicking myself it's gorgeous it's like dazzling diamonds x12 or as my down line Jenn says "it looks like a disco ball, its so pretty".

Playful Birthday

I know that I've been MIA for awhile now, I've been pretty busy with a vacation, classes, and the launch of the new catalog not to mention just everyday life and a variety of other commitments. So I definitely have been neglecting my blog. Thank you for your patience. I made this card for a friend of mine last month using our wonderful bright and cheery Simply Scrappin' Kit playful polka dots. This kit can be found in the summer mini catalog on pg.15. Doesn't the triple layer blossom bouquet punch make for a great bow look on top of the presents. I first saw this clever use of this punch on a Becky Roberts card and thought why didn't I think of that. A little bit of old and a sneak peek of NEW! I needed some thank you cards to accompany some orders that I had. I wanted quick cute and simple. I got the idea from a really cute bag I saw online somewhere, that used our fancy favor die and just took that idea and made it into a card. Of course I added some of my own touches here and there. The stamp set I used was the a la carte "Thanks so Much" this stamp is retiring as of July 1st. Sneak Peek alert: Just Add Cake DSP available July 1st. One of my friends hosted a party this past Friday! I had a a lot of fun and meet some new people. That's part of why I love being a SU! Demonstrator, it's gives me some girl time and I get to share what I love to do. This was the hostess gift that I made for Tracie. I knew that she likes bright colors. Happy Wednesday! Boy did our weather go from one extreme to the other here in California. It's been cold and windy with rain here and there that I thought we would never see summer. We missed spring all together and jumped right in to 90+ degree weather. What happened to our transition weather mother nature? I'm not going to complain though my son is loving it and loving that he gets to play outside in the water! So I know that I've been MIA for a couple weeks now I've just been so busy with workshops, my sisters graduation and everyday life. This card was from my birthday stamp a stack that I had just a few weeks ago. I actually cased my own cards just using different DSP and colors. Boy has this weather been so weird lately, it's definitely keeping us on our toes here in California from Hot to cold to windy I just wish Mother Nature would make up it's mind and let us get on with some nice weather.

This is another card that I made for our summer mini preview that I had with my demo sistas. I really love this stamp set "On the Grow" it's great for water coloring and so simple. I'm really liking this color combination, I'm not always good with stepping out of my usual go to colors so I've been really trying to challenge myself. So i have really been relying on my trustee color coach to help me with that. Great go to tool! Thanks for stopping by but I must run it's time for family time with my 2 boys! Happy Saturday! I hope all of you have great plans for the weekend and are going to enjoy this great weather while we have it that is if you are in California. I have my Stamp A Stack Class today and I'm looking forward to seeing all my ladies! We have so much fun together. So I will have to be brief with my post.

I love, love, love this card so much that I had to go out and CASE it. The first time I saw this card was out our mini preview that a handful of us Demonstrators got together for. My up up line Karen Flores made this card to be honest I'm not sure if she came up with this or if she saw it somewhere my guess is it's hers! Look closely the large blue butterfly is our Springtime Vintage Fabric yep that's right our fabric. I applied our adhesive to the back side of it and just ironed it right on to my card stock. Talk about all the different ways that you can use our fabric so if you loved this DSP as much as I did and was sad to see it go I hope that you will give this try it so simple and gives your card that much more texture. Don't you just love this scooter. I have to say that this stamp set was at the top of my must haves when I first saw the mini! That adorable scooter sold me right from the start not to mention its a great water coloring set. I think this stamp set will definitely kick me into gear to practice my water coloring technique. Love, love, love this set. This card layout was inspired by a Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge which are wonderful they are great for new layouts especially if you want to change things up a bit or if as I call it have no creative mojo for the moment! Happy Mother's Day to all of you mom's out there, I hope that you have a wonderful day being pampered and spending time with your families. Here is the Mothers Day card that I made, I had seen this card sometime ago in a Stampin' Success magazine that Stampin Up! demonstrators get monthly I really liked the different use of the embossing folder with the added touch of the textured card stock. I sponged the reverse side of the embossing image which allowed the image to pop. You can see another view by scrolling down. Gotta run I'm off to go enjoy my Mothers day. WELCOME Baby Frankie

Good Morning, I'm super excited to announce that my good friend Jen W. had her precious little baby girl Frankie yesterday. She is absolutely beautiful and we can't wait to meet her! Momma and Baby are both doing well and are healthy. =D

Which brings me to my post, I altered these onesie's for Baby Frankie. I'm really happy with the way they came out considering this was my first sew project. I have to say though my mom helped me out a lot. Thanks MOM! I made 3 different ones using our Springtime Fabric I just love this fabric design and was sad to see the coordinating DSP go but at least we still have the fabric to play with, right. I also used our Fabric adhesive to keep my image in place and then sewed them to the onesie, I don't know that I had to do that, being that they were ironed on but I was a bit nervous that they would fall apart so that's the reason I decided to sew them too! Happy Saturday! I have to make my post quick today I have a fun filled day of Easter activities for my son Caleb toady. We are going to be making some Easter goodies as well as coloring Easter eggs {wish me luck} and we are taking Caleb out on a date to the movies to see HOP! I think I might be more excited about this than him! Happy Wednesday we are almost half way through with our week! Today's post is a card that I made for my Imprints swap and my 6Th swap group. This last Saturday I had a Imprints meeting that my up line Bev puts together she gets all of us demo's together and gives us highlights, new techniques and we all do a swap and share something new, this round there were 23 of us! WOW, that is a lot of SU! girls in one room and all you here is "oh that's so cute" and a ton of laughter, especially at my table it seemed like we were sorta of the loud ones. What can I say we were just having so much fun and laughing is good for the soul rite? Some of us were also surprised by a award that Bev handed out it was the DIVA award and I was shocked and excited to hear I was one of those lucky girls, I felt like I won the lottery... whoo hoo!!! Here is a altered compostion book using Ice Cream Parlor DSP that I did for one of the shower gifts. I also added a flower bookmark. Im sure all of you have been seeing these flower book marks all over cyber space. I had been wanting to make one so I thought this would be the perfect time to do so.

This is a hanging magnet board. I originally saw this idea at a imprints meeting that I had at my uplines house. Mercedes Weber had brought a hanging chalkboard which was abolutely adorable. Thank you for the inspiration Mercedes. I decided to make some magnets to go with my board so I cut off the tabs to our fabric brads { these can be found in the occasions mini} and just added some of our maget material to the back and voila. Note: the DSp used for this project is the Sweet Stitiches from the Occassions Mini

These were the favors that I made for the shower. Jen wanted candy bars so that is what she got, big mistake though because I ended eating some of the chocolate bars as I was putting them together. =D Oh well at least I didn't eat them all right? Happy Monday All, boy it sure seems like this weekend flew by and way too fast. I had a very busy weekend with friends and family. I love those kinds of weekends just spending time with my family. Here is the Banner I made for my good friend Jen's baby shower. I had a lot of fun making it and was pretty happy with the way it came out. What do you think? Happy Monday, I hope that you all had a great weekend. We had a pretty busy weekend over here at the Toll House, from play dates, to build a bear birthday parties to my clear notebook class on Sunday, our weekend just flew on by. My mom emailed me last week and asked me to whip up a quick just because card for her also followed by and can I pick up after work. Uh OK that doesn't give me much time. At the time I was watching my 2 year old as most us know that is a full time job {which I absolutely love, I'm not complaining} and working on baby shower invites. So because I love my mom I dropped everything for her and tried to whip up a quick card..... um it took a bit longer than I planned. So for those of you that have been pregnant you will totally understand. So to give you an idea my stamp room is upstairs but Caleb was playing downstairs with his trains so I went upstairs to grab what needed for my quick card, I came downstairs and started to work on my card when I realized not once but at least 5 times that I forgot something and had to go back upstairs to get what I needed. BOY was that a workout! But can you say Preggo brain? At least that's what I call it. I think I took most of my time making tracks up and down the stairs than creating. LOL =D So back to my card, I took Mary Fish's layout idea and changed it around a bit but my inspiration came from her. I love that lady she does such awesome work and is very inspiring. Gotta run lots to do, I hope that you have a Happy Monday!

Happy Birthday Sammie, my niece Sammie turned 3 on Thursday but today is her birthday party. The theme is build a bear so I decided to make her birthday card based on her theme. I apologize for the picture quality it not very crisp for some reason. I received this card a few weeks ago from my cousin Niki who is also a SU! Demo. Isn't it adorable?! I like that she tried keeping it gender neutral being that it's still too early to know yet what my bun in the oven's gender is. This is another stamp camp card. This was one of my cards that our group decided to for camp. It was also my interpretation of a layout challenge I came across. I really loved the color combination of the NEW Sweet Stitches DSP but I'm not much of a sewer nor do I know anybody that is but I decided to get this DSP anyway it just called out to me. So I played around with it and this is what I came up with I was pretty happy with the out come! My original is located in the picture below I just had to make a small modification for camp but I think both cards came out really great. Drop me a line and let me know what you think!

Happy Sunday, my pictures didn't come out that good not sure if it's my camera or operator error or maybe my son got a hold of it again and changed the settings. When I first got a glimpse of the new mini I saw the Valentine Defined stamp set and new I had to have it, I just loved those flamingo's aren't they just so darn cute. Happy Monday, I hope that all of you had a wonderful Christmas. I know we sure did! I just loved watching my 2 year old open all of his presents and the excitement in his little face it's just so priceless. It was also fun to watch him really get into and see the changes from last year.

Here is a card that I made from my down line Jenn. This card was inspired by Mary Fish. I stalk her blog daily. Merry Christmas Eve! I will be brief today. I just wanted to share with you some goodies I received from my fellow demos. This tasty looking plate of goodies came from my cousin Niki Toll. I think the tag is just to cute and I sure did fell bad about taking this apart. I'm glad that I did though because to my surprise when all those cookies were gone I found a cute Christmas tree that she had put on it using our decor elements. Happy Thursday! I can't believe that Christmas is just in 2 days! Oh my word, where the heck did the time go. I feel like it went by at warp speed. Luckily I finished all my Christmas shopping so I don't have to go out there in the crazy stores. I just need to get on the ball and wrap all those little goodies I bought so I'm not wrapping everything on Christmas Eve! Hopefully all of you don't have to fight the crowds.

I made several of these cards, as my Christmas cards. This was a pretty simple card which was great for me I needed quick and simple. I recently received this stamp set so I thought it to be the perfect time to break it in and so I did. I had some of the deck the halls fabric left over from a prior project so I decided on my color combination around my scraps of fabric instead of going to my handy dandy color coach which lately I seem to live by. If you don't own a color coach yet and it's not on your wish list I would highly recommend that you add it, it's such a great tool. Also if you are anything like me and find yourself staying in your comfort zone of colors the color coach is sure to help you step out of the box. Thanks for stopping!

Happy Tuesday! I know I have been MIA lately from my blog, I've been so busy with holidays, me and my family getting sick, workshops and a mini vacation thrown in the mix somewhere and everything else life decided to throw my way! Are you all ready for Christmas? I have to admit I still have lots to do, I feel like this Christmas just snuck up on me so fast that I didn't even see it coming. Anyone else feel that way? I sure hope I'm not the only one. OK, so onto today's post. This was a card that I made for a swap group I joined. It's only been a couple of months that I have joined but it sure has been fun already. I look forward to seeing what cards I will be getting every month. So I recently purchased the Greeting Card Kids stamp set and I haven't gotten to play with it yet, but let me tell you when I first saw this stamp set in the catalog I thought to myself eh that's a cute stamp set but I can do with out it. I'm sure some of you are thinking is she crazy that set is top on my list. I know, I know I was crazy! Happy Saturday! This was a swap that I did at our last imprints meeting. I hadn't realized that I never posted it. I really love this stamp set and had just purchased it si I thought what better time to break it in than to use it for my swap cards. I decided to change my card size up from the standard size card, and use our scallop square die. I think it makes such a cute card. At our imprints we not only do a swap we also have a contest. I didn't win this swap card contest {boo hoo}, maybe next time. There were a lot of great cards to choose from I'm really lucky to be part of a group of very talented ladies. Happy Monday All, I hope that you all had a great weekend. I sure did it was a busy, busy weekend. We went to Hannah's 4 yr birthday party which this card was for and we had a blast of course I think my son Caleb's favorite part of the party was cake I couldn't keep him away from it. I also attended my first Longaberger party on Sunday which I have a feeling won't be my last. As for my post today as mentioned this card went to Hannah or should I say to Hannah's mom who is a fellow SU! demonstrator as well. OK, so I'm sure you are thinking you may have seen this card somewhere, well you are absolutely right I cased this card from the current Stampin' Up catalog on page 158. This card caught my eye when I saw how the ribbon draped down. This card was made for a charity raffle. We needed a masculine birthday so we {meaning me and my down line Jenn} went to our new handy color coach and came up with this color combo which i really ended up liking a lot. Love that NEW color coach it's really been helpful with taking me out of my normal choice of color combinations and getting me to really step out of the box. Holiday Hoopla Fun!

Happy Sunday! I know, I know I've been MIA for the last couple of weeks, so sorry for that I've been really busy prep for classes, SU! parties and most of all Stamp Camp. Here are a couple of pics from our Holiday Hoopla Stamp Camp that was yesterday. Boy was it a lot of fun. It was a great success and thank you to all the stampers that came yesterday. Thank you also to all the demonstrators that helped to organize camp. It was lots of fun and lots of laughs. I always have a great time with everyone not to mention all of my demo sisters get together afterward and have dinner together and cheers to another fun camp.

Good Morning! I have a busy, busy day today! I'm off to a imprints meeting this morning, it's a meeting that my up line puts on. It's a lot of fun we do make and takes, chat, have lots of laughs all while hanging out with the girls and learning something new. What more could I ask for! Then I'm off to a fellow demonstrators house to create with a group of my fellow demonstrators. So there will be lots of fun ahead of me today!

Which brings me to my post for the day. This was a gift that my cousin made me for my birthday using the MDS {my digital studio}, she is also a fellow demonstrator which makes it all the more fun for me. I was talking to hear about all the goodies I saw posted on blogs of convention and told her about a stamp that was only available at convention and that demo's were able to buy while there. So to my surprise when I opened my birthday present here was this fabulous frame and her version of that stamp in a 8x8 picture form for my stamp room. I was super excited about it, grinning from cheek to cheek like a little kid at Christmas. I think her version is cuter, heehee! Thanks so much Niki for my birthday present, I absolutely love it! Now I just need to find the right place to hang it. Doesn't being a SU! Demonstrator sound like lots of fun? Happy Thursday! I wanted to post this earlier but I've been having trouble uploading pictures. This was a card that I received for my birthday last Friday from my cousin Niki, isn't super cute! I really love the stamp set! This picture doesn't do this card justice it is soooo much prettier in person. Niki water colored the treats making them look good enough to eat. As promised another Halloween card! This was a card that I made for our recent stamp camp meeting where we selected the cards/projects for camp, this card wasn't selected. It was really hard to select the few that we did, they were all so great not to mention that I get the pleasure of working with some really talented ladies.

Oh yeah, did I mention that I love our NEW spider web embossing folder. Yep you heard that or should I say you read that right. This is a sneak peek from our upcoming holiday mini catalog. I swear this photo does not do this embossing folder justice just wait till you get yours I promise you will love it. It just gives your card stock that little extra texture. OK, back to my card unfortunately this card did not photograph the best so it's a little hard to see but my moon is shimmering with a bit of shimmer paint. TIP: To create my evening moon I punched a 1 1/4" circle placed my template where I wanted and sponged So Saffron Ink until I acheieved my desired color and then sponged over again with Basic Gray to give a more eerie moon.

I absolutely love Halloween, do you? So needless to say when the catalog came out I checked out all the Halloween goodies and this one made it to the top of my list. I just loved those boots, the witches hat, ummm everything actually! This was a card that I made for a possible stamp camp project. My card wasn't chosen so now I'm able to share it with you! However, you wont want to miss out on stamp camp there will be lots of great cards some of which are Halloween.

I have this set in clear, which made it really easy to place the witches hat directly above her shoes. I was unsure of clear stamp sets when SU! came out with them at first but now I love them, I love that they allow you to add a few stamp images to a block allowing so many more possibilities and easier. Sorry for being MIA for the last several days life just got away from me. I've been pretty busy and then life decided to throw me a curve ball with a teething 2 year old with a pretty bad cold. So all he wants is to snuggle mommy so now I'm starting to feel under the weather, No fun! I have lots to post I just need to get them photographed.

Here was a door prize that I made for my Stampin' Up party yesterday. I think it turned out pretty cute. Jen W. was the winner of this little gift set and she was pretty excited about being the winner and ever more excited once I told here there was a magnet on the back side. This was a simple note pad, pen and clip that I dressed up.

Good Morning! I'm off to an appt this morning and maybe to the Expo with my mom, we'll see how long my appt runs and whether I want to weather the traffic. Here's another Baby Card that I made for GGMa {great grandma}that went with her baby shower gift. This card is a 4x4 card, and it fits perfectly in our translucent envelope. This was a q&s card and only took me about 10min or less to make once I found all my punches I needed to use. I gotta run now for my appt.! Happy Stampin'!

I hope everyone is enjoying their day! I made this card to go with my gift for a friends baby shower this past weekend. I knew that I wanted to use the onesie from the new Baby Tees jumbo wheel we have in the catalog I just wasn't sure what I wanted to do with it. This is the end result, I'm pretty happy with the way that it turned out. This size card is 3 1/2 x 3 1/2 I just put it in a standard size translucent envelope that we sell. This was a make and take that I made at UnConvention, I went to a couple of weekends ago. This card was designed by I believe Julie Ramos she is one of I guess you could say sisters in our group of SU! Demonstrators. Good Morning, I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend. This card was made for my dad who recently had a birthday, I saw this truck and thought it would be perfect to make his birthday card with. He used to have one of these trucks when he was younger it to was green but a little bit of a darker shade. Anywho this card was a case from one of my stampin pals Ruby Johnson. TIP: I inked my Square Lattice embossing folder on the raised side and then ran it through the big shot to give it that distressed background. This technique will dirty your folder but is fairly easy to clean off.

Happy Saturday! I hope all of you are off to a great start to your weekend. It looks like it's going to be another beautiful sunny day. We had our Multi~Demonstrator garage sale last night and it was a lot of fun and their were a lot of deals and great items that were for sale. It was my mom's birthday last week and this is the card that I made for her. This is also another sneak peek from our upcoming catalog, using another design from our Gardenhouse Gala DSP. I really am loving this new DSP and seem to want to use it for everything! I used one of our new core colors Daffodil Delight {I really like this shade of yellow} for the base of my card and added some of our new 1/8" marina taffeta ribbon. This card made for a very quick and simple card.
