Happy Birthday BuG!!!

I'm a bit late in posting this card. This is the card I gave my little guy, he recently turned 5 on March 15th {insert tear}.  Its bittersweet he's growing so fast and as much as love watching him learning, and discovering new things and just seeing his personality grow its sad to see my baby growing up. I really think this Storybook DSP is so cute. It's pretty universal it's great for kids cards/projects but it can also be used on masculine cards because it offers some great striped patterns too. All Dressed Up Posies

 TGIF!!! I'm so happy its Friday. It certainly has felt like the longest week ever. Our family has a packed filled weekend for Easter and I'm looking forward to spending sometime with my boys and family. Today's post is a sample card that I made for display at camp. I'm sure it will eventually go to one of my sisters seeing as how I have 2 that have birthdays coming soon. This card was inspired by a frame that Kim Van Diepen created. I loved how she made the dress skirt from the pop up posies kit. When I saw her frame I new I had to design a card with that same skirt idea. It's really easy to do the skirt, she used a hot glue gun on her tutorial I just used tombow glue and its pretty secure. Check out Kim's tutorial and check out her All Dressed Up frame here.  Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your Easter weekend.

Oh, Hello Thanks

Happy Saturday! Here is a card that I submitted as a potential for camp. I really love this color combination. My original sample is the card with the distressed dots background stamp. This card was chosen for camp but we made a slight change to the background and used the honeycomb EF. I really like it both backgrounds.
