Happy Birthday Caleb!

My baby turned 4 on the 15th of March (tear) . It's sorta bitter sweet he's at a fun age where he can tell you exactly what he wants, be silly and have a good time I get to see his personality grow more and more. At the same time its hard to see that he's growing up so fast, but as all of us moms say he will still be my baby no matter how old or how big he gets. I love you Bug! OK, OK enough about me and my sentimental rambling.

Today's post are 3 very talented guest stampers, friends and my Stampin' Up sisters. These were all made especially for Caleb. I love each and every one of them. Thanks girls.

Happy Birthday

I made this card quite some time ago, end of January to be precise. This card went to Caleb's cousin Ava. I got the idea from a picture that was floating around in cyberspace from Leadership this year. It was a display of a number 5 wrapped in baja breeze seam binding it was absolutely adorable. Of course I cant find the picture to show you all now. When I saw it I knew immediately that I wanted to design a card around it. I was really happy with the turn out. I hope Ava liked it too. =D It's hard to tell in the picture but I wanted a pink glittery number 5 so I sponged the silver glitter paper with pretty in pink reinker. In hand the color is a few shades darker. Drop me a line and let me know what you think?
Supplies:

Paper: Textured Baja Breeze, Textures Rich Razzleberry, Silver Glitter Paper

Stamp Set: Family Reunion, Calendar Alphabet & Numbers

Ink: Rich Razzleberry

Accessories: Punch Bunch Pack, Blossom Builders {mini}, Early Espresso Bakers Twine and Jewel Rhinestones, Striped Embossing Folder

Matter of Moments Notebook

I know I've been MIA for awhile. There's a laundry list of reasons why but I wont bore you with that. I'm hoping to get back into the swing of posting. This is one of a handful of notebooks I made for someone that wanted to give as gifts. I was really happy with out this one came out. for some reason I was having trouble creatively putting this together. My customer was specific in colors but let me design. It's a bit hard to tell in the pic but there is some embossing on the black, I used the large swirly image from the Creative Elements stamp set.
Supplies:

Paper: News Print Specialty, Cherry Cobbler CS (this color looks red in pic), Textured Basic Black CS, Vanilla CS

Stamp Set: Creative Elements, Elements of Style & School Lines

Ink: Versa Mark & Basic Black

Accessories: Butterfly Die, Perfect Pennants Die, Decorative Label Punch, Punch Bunch Pack, 1/8" Basic Black Taffeta Ribbon, Neutrals Buttons and Rhinestone Jewels. Clear Embossing Powder, Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder

TIP: I wanted the Scallop that the butterfly was going to sit on to be firm and hold it's shape so I added some of our DSP backing board to the cardstock before running it through the Perfect Pennants die.
