SYMPATHY~ LOSS OF OUR KITTY

Hello All! It's a very crisp and cold morning today.....brr! I recently received this card from my cousin in the mail. Our family recently experienced a loss, our fun loving cat Gremlin, and as all of us pet lovers know that even our animals are considered to be part of the family!
I know Sympathy cards are not always easy to create. I think she did a great job, thanks Niki for the card and the warm words that followed inside. If you would like to see more of Niki's creations you can visit her blog by clicking here.
This card was created using the MDS {My Digital Studio}. You may not be able to tell that this is a Hybrid card. Hybrid cards are part MDS and part 3-D embellishments. Thanks for stopping by.
** You will be loved and missed GREMLIN.

PAJAMA~RAMA GIFTS

Last night was our Pajama-Rama that my cousin & I put together. We had a late night and a lot of fun all of us girls, laughing, chatting, munching and of course shopping the SU! Catalog. I didn't get as much done as I had hoped for being that I was distracted by all the fun and company. So thank you to the ladies that came last night from a stay at home mom that was long overdue for some much needed girl time. I hope you had as much fun as I did!
In today's post you will see some "thank you" gifts we made for the ladies that attended last night. The tablet shown above was a 8 1/2 x 11 cut in half. This paper can be purchased at any office store in various sizes, they will also cut it in half for you, you just have to ask them to do it. Using Sticky Strip I covered the existing spine and added some DSP {tip: before cutting into a brand new sheet of paper look at your scrap size pieces to use.} To finish them off I added a little shopping bag from the Things I Love stamp set, I punched the image with a 1 1/4 circle punch and layered it using the 1 3/8 circle punch and Scallop Circle Punch. Our ladies really loved them so what do you think? Drop me a line and let me know!

BOO!

I can't believe that we are already in November boy has the year flown by. I wanted to post some of my Halloween projects earlier but I was having some problems uploading pictures to my computer as well as with blogger. So hopefully everything is working as it should I'm not the most technical when it comes to tricks with the computer. Any who!

This card went out to Caleb's great grandparents and grandparents. I wish I could say that this is my creation however it is not. I saw a card that was very similar to this at my uplines {I'm not sure if this her creation or one she received} I made some changes to work around with what I had. When I saw this card I had to make it my 19 month old son's favorite word right now is BOO! I love it we go to the Halloween stores, look at catalogs and he loves looking at the witches and skeletons and saying BOO to them so I thought this card was very fitting for him to give the grandparents with his Halloween picture. Let me know what you think! I like the way it turned out!

Paper: Basic Black, Perfect Plum & Cast~A~Spell DSP

PETAL ENVELOPE DIE BOXES: STAMP CAMP FAVOR

These were my favors for Stamp Camp, I made these using the Petal Card die cut. I found this creative idea first on My Creations by Ilina Crouse. I stalk her blog frequently as she has alot of great ideas. You can click here to view her original petal box as well as a tutorial.
I thought this favor box would be a great idea for stamp camp not only because I filled them with candy and who doesn't love candy, but I thought it would be a great way to demonstrate the petal die cut other than what it is intended for. I personally like to find out other ways that my Stampin' Up! tools can be used. So if you have some ideas for me for this particular die let me know because I would love to hear it or even see it.
The Recipe for this Envelope box:
Paper: Perfect Plum, Basic Black, Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive, Cast~A~Spell DSP
Accssories: Petal Card Die {4 times}, Black Grosgrain Ribbon, Lots of Tags Sizzlits, Wide Oval Punch, Spooky Treats Rub~Ons, Sticky Strip and Pop~up Glue Dots

YUMMY TREATS

Good Morning All, It's a brisk morning here in California. I love the fall and winter seasons. The smell of rain and wood burning in the fire place, and of course getting all bundled up in winter clothes.

I purchased this jar from Target and decided I was going to use our decor elements to jazz it up. I love Halloween so I thought let's makes this a decorative candy jar. If our Decor Elements makes you nervous to apply, don't be they are extremely user friendly. You are all probably looking at this picture and saying I know that I have seen this somewhere, well you are right! I copied this from our definitely decorative catalog which you can find on pg. 7. I thought it was so cute that I had to have one! I filled it with Halloween treats which probably was not a good idea being that I love candy. The element used was the small black Spooky Brocade {item# 117572 $8.95} and 1 1/4" Stripped Black Ribbon for the lid. Thank you for stopping by but I must get going there is candy to be eaten! LOL

EEK! GHOULS AND GOBLINS

I love Halloween I think that it might actually be one of my favorite holidays! I love seeing all the little kids in their costumes especially the infants and toddlers they are just so darn cute. Plus who doesn't love candy! So I was excited when I saw these cute little treat cups in our mini catalog, I had to get them and try them out. This was my first creation using these cups I thought that I would make a card with it rather than a favor which I've been seeing alot of in the cyber stamp world. What I really love about these cups not only are they cute but they don't take alot to fill which is great especially if your giving it to little ones. I filled my treat cup with Reese's Pieces {mmmm... maybe I will have to eat what's left in the bag! yummy} Drop me a comment and let me know what you think!!

Here's the Recipe:

Paper: Black, Perfect Plum, Whisper White & Cast A Spell

Stamp Set: Sweet Centers (mini Catalog)

Ink: Old Olive

Accessories: Sweet Treat Cups, 1 3/8" Circle punch, 5/8" Grosgrain black ribbon

MAKE A WISH

Good Morning All, I hope that everyone is enjoying their weekend. The weather here in California has been a little on the hot side. I'm definitely ready for cooler weather. Today's post was a a copy from my cousin Niki you can find her card HERE.
I did however change the card just a bit as far as color and turning it into a scallop square. I liked the fact that her card was very simple and cute. So be sure to stop by her blog. Thanks Niki for helping me out with yet another birthday card.

Here's the Recipe:

Paper: Whisper White

Ink: Rich Razzleberry, Melon Mambo, Bermuda Bay {marvelous markers}

Stamp Set: Everything Nice

Accessories: Scallop Square Die Cut, Melon Mambo Polka Dot Ribbon

BIRTHDAY BOT!

Yes, that's correct another birthday card! This card was made for one of my little sisters who recently turned 11! I just think these little bots are so darn cute, but I wanted to change up my bot and make her a girly one so I hope that I achieved that. I tried to take a picture of my bots belly to show that I popped it up but the picture didn't show it very well. TIP: Dimensionals do not adhere well to watercolor paper so try using pop up glue dots. Drop me a comment and let me know what you think!

Here is the recipe for this card:

Paper: Melon Mambo {love it}, Rich Razzleberry, Whisper White, Water Color Paper and Razzleberry Lemonade DSP

Ink: Dusty Durango, Melon Mambo and Black Stazon

Stamp Sets: Lot of Bots & Look Who's Turning

Accessories: Scallop Square Die, Modern Label Punch, Word Window Punch, Rich Razzleberry Polka Dot Ribbon and Pop Up glue dots

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD!

First off I have to say I absolutely love the "Branch Out" stamp set! It is one of the easiest 2~step stamp set that I own. I also love how you can change the tree for all the seasons and it still looks so cute as well as using it for so many different occasions. Today's card as you can see from the title is a card that I made for my dad. If you are anything like me then you know how difficult it is to make a masculine card. I just seem to struggle when making them, but I like to think that I am getting a little better at it. I always ask my hubby for his opinion, to see if the end result is masculine enough, I figure he would know best plus I think deep down he wants to be stamper! {teehee}

Card Recipe:
Paper: Chocolate Chip, Very Vanilla, Autumn Meadows DSP{holiday mini pg.13}

Inks: Chocolate Chip, Taken with Teal, Really Rust and More Mustard

Stamp Set: Branch Out and On Your Birthday

Accessories: Top Note Die, Modern Label Punch, Word Window Punch, Chocolate Chip 5/8 grosgrain ribbon and Jumbo Eyelet Brad

Thanks for stopping by!

CYBER UPDATE

I wanted to just update my status from my last post. My Internet issues have still not been resolved. I am sad to say that I have had to cancel my relationship with AT&T and start a new one with Comcast. I am hoping that I can get back to posting again on Tuesday, that is if all goes well... let's cross our fingers. Thank you so much for baring with me during this down time. Let me say what ever did we do before we had the technology of computers because I am going completely insane without mine. Thanks again and I hope to be posting again soon.

TROUBLES WITH CYBERSPACE!

So today I came over to my father in laws house to post. It's difficult to come here on a regular basis with my little one being that he likes to get into everything right now, but I wanted to make sure that I updated my readers and followers of my absence. I thought that once my Internet and phone service was transferred to my new home that I would be back in full swing posting on a regular basis, but much to my frustration I have not been able to, I've been having alot of problems with my Internet connection since I have moved. My service is with AT&T and much to my dissatisfaction they are taking there sweet merry time to resolve my Internet connection problems. So I apologize for not having anything new for sometime now. Please bare with me during this time and as soon as I have my Internet connection again I will be back with my most recent projects. Thanks for visiting my blog and I hope to return with posts very soon.

MAKE & TAKE

This card was the make & take that we had at our garage sale earlier this month. Our stampers that came to our garage sale were all able to make one of these cards { as long as they RSVP'd by the deadline}. This card was created by our upline Bev. The only I had to do was change the color and paper with something that was current. This card was a hit and everyone loved it, all I kept hearing was how easy this stamp set was to use and they couldn't believe it. They also loved the color combination. I love Orchid Opulence and Old Olive together, and can I tell you how much I'm loving the New Cottage Wall DSP it is by far my favorite right now! I seem to be using it on project I can get my hands on!
OK so here is the recipe for this card:
This card is 5 1/4 x 5 1/4.
