MISS JUNE SWAP~ FRIENDLY WORDS

Hello friends! Sorry for being MIA for the last couple of weeks. I've been really busy lately and also we were having computer trouble. UGH! So I hope we are over it now. Today's post is one of my MISS June swaps that I participated in. The set that we were to use was the Friendly Words jumbo wheel, which I was really excited about because I recently purchased it so I was able to break it in. Yippie!!!! I will be getting my swaps in the mail hopefully by tomorrow so I soon as I do I will share them with you. This card is standard size and a joy fold.

So the recipe for this card is as follows:
Paper: Basic Gray, Almost Amethyst, Whisper White and Tea Party DSP
Stamp Set: Friendly Words Jumbo Wheel

Ink: White Craft and Almost Amethyst

Accessories: Butterfly Die Cut, Clear Rhinestones and White Embossing Powder

I don't think that is shows very well in the picture but the words are embossed onto the Basic Gray CS. I hope that all the participants in this swap enjoy this card. I know that I was pretty happy with the way it came out. Thank you for stopping by and stay tuned for more Miss June Swaps.

"B" IS FOR BIRTHDAY

Good Day my creative friends. I hope that you enjoyed your weekend. Here in California we had beautiful weather, so my weekend was spent with my two boys enjoying it. However Saturday had to be a little productive on the home front so my closet got a face lift, it had to be done. i guess you can say spring cleaning came a bit late.

OK so I made this card for one of my cousins, this card went to my cousin Manuel. I was trying to make it more on the masculine side and so I hesitated on the big bow in front but decided what the heck he will love it anyway. This card was very simple and quick to make. I found a layout from one of the challenges I came across. I wish that I can remember where but it helped to change it up. The recipe for this card is as follows.

Stamp Set: Party Hearty

Paper: Whisper White, Certainly Celery, Baja Breeze and Hand Drawn Bundle (level 3 hostess)

Ink: Baja Breeze

Accessories: Scallop Edge punch,White Satin Ribbon and Dazzling Diamonds

So there it is another quick and simple birthday card. Thanks for stopping by.

SIMPLE FRIENDSHIP

This is a 6x6 scrapbook page that was a make a take at my last booking. They absolutely loved this scrapbook page plus it didn't hurt that they got to use glitter, they all love glitter. The group of ladies that were there all love to scrapbook and did not know to much about Stampin' Up and what they have to offer and were also not sure if they were into stampin'. Most thought that stampin' was just about making cards, after doing this make and take their idea of rubber stampin' has now been changed forever and know that stamps can be combined with scrapbooking.

I wish that I can say that this scrapbook page is my original, however I can't it's a Julie Ramos original. She is one of my fellow imprint down line. I cased (copy & share) a scrapbook page that she created and just changed it a bit to work with a stamp set I had. So thank you for the great scrapbook page Julie. You can view her scrapbook page here: http://stampyourdream.blogspot.com/search?updated-max=2009-03-25T10%3A47%3A00-07%3A00&max-results=7

So here is the recipe for this scrapbook page:

Paper: Pink Pirouette, Almost Amethyst, Basic Gray, Very Vanilla and Tea Party DSP

Ink: Almost Amethyst, Going Gray and Pink Pirouette

Stamp Set: Simple Friendship and Define Your Life

Accessories: Butterfly Die, Photo Corner punch, Wide Oval punch, Clear Rhinestone, pop up glue dots and glitter
