THOROUGHLY MODERN NOTE PAD

I'm a little behind in posting this! This was my raffle prize that I made for the Stamp Camp we had in late February. I saw these note pad holders on Patty Bennett's blog, you can view hers here. I thought that they were a great idea for gifts and super cute! I did add a few little extra embellishments of my own to them. These note pad holders were made using our Thoroughly Modern file folders that you can find on pg. 169 of our idea book & catalog. I wasn't sure how complicated they would be to make but actually they were very simple and did not take much time at all. I love quick and simple, don't you? My tag on the front was made using "Flight of the Butterfly" and "Define your Life" stamp sets and punched out with our wide oval. I hope that who ever received these not pad holders at stamp camp enjoyed them. Thanks for stopping by and hopefully you can go out and enjoy this beautiful weather we are having today in Cali!

RECIPE EXCHANGE!

Here are some pictures from our Recipe exchange we had last Thursday. It was so much fun and I received a lot of very yummy recipes. I think all of our tummy's were pretty full after this exchange from snacking here and there! Here is one of Jenn's recipe's and this the card she made that accompanied it, isn't cute. I loved how Jenn got into and had the shrimp jumping across the page.
Here is another dish that Jenn made, this was so yummy! Mmmmmm Chili! She made her recipe card using punch art to create her pot of chili and the jelly bean from the Something sweet to create her Lima beans, very creative Jenn. I loved it the card and definitely the Chili!

Alyssa was the creator of this recipe card, too cute not to mention that I love this stamp set "Voila". These BBQ chicken sandwiches were very tasty a must have in your recipe box.
This is Nina she was gracious enough to model the demo I did. I made the carrot using the large Scallop circle Die and the Scallop Oval punch added a bit of ribbon and done, now you have a cute little gift all you have to do is add some goodies whether you give it just like that or even if you just add a few to a Easter basket.

Here you will see the demo my cousin Niki did. She showed the ladies how to make a little bunny out of a washcloth. She paired the bunny with a Bath soap and embellished them with our Easter stamp. She saw this project at Leadership. This is a super cute and great alternative to candy for Easter.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SAMMIE & CHRISTTIAN

Happy St. Patrick's Day! I made these cards a couple weeks ago but am just now getting around to posting them. I made one for my niece that just turned 2 actually Sammie and Caleb are only 12 days apart, and the other for Caleb's little buddy Christtian who as you can tell by the card just turned 3. I saw this layout on Andrea Walford's blog a blog that I frequent or as some may say stalk! I thought the layout was great and I'm always looking for new layout ideas. I did add a few of my own touches to this card. What originally caught my eye when I first saw her card was how she displayed the age in one of the boxes. Absolutely loved that idea! You can view her card here, Thanks for sharing Andrea!
So be sure to sport your greens today because you never know who is going to be on the look out waiting to pinch! Have a great St. Patty's day and I hope you can enjoy this beautiful weather that we are having!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CALEB!

I can't believe how time goes by so fast, my baby boy turned 2 today {sniff, sniff} it's bittersweet! Here are the cards that Caleb received at his birthday party.

Created by Niki Toll
This is Caleb's auntie, I thought this card was super cute. I think she said that she cased it from another creative stamper. You can jump on over to her blog and see some of her other creations and to see details for this card by clicking here. She very talented and has a lot of great ideas!

Created By Ashley Romo

I love all the circles she did to make up the card, that was pretty creative I think I will have to copy this one Ashley!

Created By Alyssa P.
This card did not photograph very well but it's super cute! I like the little added
chomp mark on the corner of the card.

Created by Jen L.
This one is a cute and a fun card, I loved that Jen went with the safari/monkey theme that went with our party. We definitely monkeyed around on Saturday! You can't see this in the picture but all of the scallop squares are popped up with dimensionals.

I loved all of the cards that Caleb received even the one's that weren't handmade. I'm off and running now to spend the day with Caleb and do all of the things that he loves to do being that it his his special day! Hope you have a great day and enjoy this great weather!

IT'S A BOY & A GIRL!

Good Morning All, today is a very busy day today! I have lots of things to do to get ready for my son's birthday weekend. So I thought I would get a early start on my list of things to do! These are some baby shower favors that I worked on last week. 2 of my cousins are both pregnant and only a few weeks apart. As you could already figure out one is having a boy and the other a girl. They decided to have joint baby shower so I thought it only made sense to alternate the blue and pink. The translucent film is not SU! I thought that in this case being that I was making 40+ favors that it would not be cost effective for me. I was pretty happy with the way they turned out and happily so were my cousins. = D
Supply List:
Stamp Set: Holiday Blitz
Ink: Pretty in Pink and Bashful Blue
Accessories: 1 1/4 circle punch, 1 3/8 circle punch, 1/16 handheld punch, Scallop Circle punch, Linen Thread, Pink & Blue Satiin ribbon and Sticky Strip

STAMP CAMP PROJECTS

Good Morning, it's a rainy day here in California. I would have posted this picture sooner however my camera was MIA thanks to my son. He decided to hide it from mommy. These are the projects that were made at stamp Camp. I think you had a lot of variety and our campers seemed to be happy! All of them are cards except the one at the bottom of the row in the middle that is a gift card holder. If you would like to see any of these cards a bit closer or have questions on how to make one send me a email. If off now to see my niece Sammie for her 2ND birthday!

Happy birthday Sammie!
